GFRC (glass fiber reinforced concrete) is a high-performance concrete that is strong, durable, and lighter than traditional concrete while maintaining the same natural character.
Yes. Each sink is cast from real concrete and finished by hand in our Colorado studio. Color is mixed throughout the material, not painted or coated on the surface.
No. Variation in color, tone, and texture is expected and part of the material.
Yes. Small pinholes and subtle tonal shifts are natural characteristics of cast concrete. They do not affect the performance or structural integrity of the sink.
Yes. Concrete develops a soft patina with use, which we consider part of its character.

Our sinks are sealed for everyday use, but like other natural materials, they perform best when spills and residue are cleaned promptly.
Each sink is finished with a water-based, high-performance matte sealer applied in multiple coats.
Concrete is durable for daily use but should be treated with care similar to natural stone.
Chipping can occur with impact, especially along edges. Structural cracking under normal use is not expected.
Use a soft cloth or sponge with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive or acidic cleaners. View care & maintenance guide →
The sealer applied to all of our sinks is designed to last for many years. If at any point you notice that your sink is no longer repelling water as normal, resealing may be worth considering. Reach out and we'll advise.

Yes. Samples are the best way to understand color and finish in person.
Samples are a guide. Final pieces may vary slightly due to the handmade process, and the sealer finish on samples may differ slightly from a fully sealed final product.
Yes. Each sink is made to order in our Colorado studio. Occasionally, we will have ready-to-ship pieces available which you can shop here.

Concrete sinks are a great fit for those who appreciate natural materials and the character that comes with them. If you prefer a perfectly uniform surface, another material may be a better fit.

GFRC is lighter than traditional concrete, but our sinks are still heavier than standard ceramic or porcelain. Weight varies by model — check the individual product page for specifications, and always confirm your vanity or countertop can provide adequate support before installation.
Yes, our drain opening is compatible with standard, non-overflow drain hardware up to 1.5”. Refer to the product specs for drain size and mounting details.
No. Plumbing hardware is sold separately unless noted on the product page.

Yes. Inspect upon delivery and before installation. Do not install a sink with visible damage, as installation is considered acceptance of the piece.
