Modterra pieces are made from GFRC concrete and finished by hand in our Colorado studio.
Because concrete is a natural material, each piece will show subtle variation in tone, texture, and surface detail. Small surface pores, often called pinholes, may also be present. These are a natural byproduct of the casting process and do not affect the integrity of the piece.
These characteristics are part of the material and make every piece unique.
Over time, the surface develops a soft patina through water and daily use.
For the best sense of color and texture, we recommend ordering a sample kit before making your final selection.

Each Modterra sink is cast by hand in our Colorado studio after your order is placed. Production typically takes 3–4 weeks before shipment.
Free shipping within the contiguous U.S. Orders ship via insured ground service with typical transit times of 3–7 business days depending on location. Tracking information will be provided once your order leaves the studio.

Clean with a soft cloth or sponge and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, which can break down the sealer over time.

Every Modterra concrete sink is cast after you order it. Production runs 3 to 4 weeks, and delivery takes another 3 to 7 business days. If you need one sooner, check our ready-to-ship page. If you don't see what you want there, reach out and we may be able to fit a rush into our schedule.

The Arroyo is 22" long and 14" front to back, the longest and narrowest sink we make. Standard vanities are 21" deep, so 14" leaves plenty of room behind the basin for a faucet. The 22" length wants a vanity 30" or wider, since a 24" leaves about an inch at each end. Measure your vanity width before you order.

Concrete is durable, but similar to natural stone it can scratch if it is not cared for. Modterra sinks are made to stand up to standard everyday use. Avoid abrasives like scouring pads, scrub brushes, and anything gritty.

Yes. Every Arroyo sink is cast from the same mold, with a set pigment ratio. Since each sink is poured by hand, slight variation in tone, texture, and size is to be expected. When ordering two or more, place your order at the same time for the closest match. We will always check them together before they ship.
